What gear oil do you recommend for a typical street driven A833 4-speed?
We recommend that you use an 85/90 weight GL3 or GL4 conventional gear oil. Do NOT use any oil with a GL5 or GL6 additive package. Chrysler did use AFT in some of the A833’s depending on climate and application, however we do NOT recommend the use of ATF.
Do you buy core transmissions and other 4-speed parts, or take parts in trade?
Yes. We will buy, or take trades on all makes & models of the A833 transmission & related parts.

How can we send you our A833 transmission for rebuild?
We recommend that you purchase and use one of our shipping containers. It can be shipped to you along with a UPS return shipping label. This makes the process simple and safe. The same container can be used to return your unit when completed.
Can orders be picked up in person at your location?
Yes. We do prefer however that you would let us know 24 hours ahead of time that you intend to pick up parts/orders. We like to have your order ready when you arrive.
